Tom C. Greer has just completed a guide for teachers to use with the first three titles in the Adventures of Honey series. He contracted with a curriculum specialist, Dawn Lozano from Corpus Christi, TX ISD, to write twelve dynamic lessons (four from each of the three titles) that teach a variety of objectives to students in elementary school. Most of the lessons are for lower elementary students (PK – 1), but they can easily be adapted for students in 4th or 5th grade. The guide covers all content areas, including English, Science, Social Studies, Reading and Writing. It also has the objectives written out based on education standards and provides assessment, enrichment and remedial activities. Because the lessons are centered on specific stories, the guide will mainly be sold as part of a package that includes a paperback or hardback copy of each title, but it can also be purchased separately for those who already have the series.

Award-winning children’s author, Tom C. Greer, loves an audience. As a child growing up in Texarkana, TX, he was an avid reader and storyteller. In school, Greer was one of the "smart kids" and part of the popular crowd, but still somewhat shy and reserved. That all changed when he joined a public speaking class at his alma mater, Liberty-Eylau High School. It was winning a citywide contest that pushed him to the next level.
